• I select one post (in draft status on “All Posts” page and select the “Export to .DOC apose.word exporter” and get an immediate blank screen with a fatal error notice and an email that begins with this:
    ——————————-
    Howdy!

Since WordPress 5.2 there is a built-in feature that detects when a plugin or theme causes a fatal error on your site, and notifies you with this automated email.

In this case, WordPress caught an error with one of your plugins, Aspose.Words Exporter.
    ——————————-
However, the text was exported to my downloads folder, but with the name of another, and very old post. I had to keep playing around hoping to get a clue when I discovered this strange re-name behavior.

So I am functioning but with these weird anomalies.

Can you please confirm which Version of Aspose.Words Exporter WordPress Plugin? We are not getting issue with the latest version. If you are using some older version than 5.0. then please upgrade to the latest version. Hopefully it will resolve the issue. It has free unlimited access to aspose.cloud API for export, along with many other improvements.

I should have mentioned that I have the latest version: 5.0.0.
In other news, there was a message near the top of the plugins page that prompted me to upgrade the API key (I think that was the message) which I did. That stopped the fatal error behavior. However, the downloads are still named from a very old post which happens to be the last one listed in the All Posts display of the All Posts pulldown selection of the Posts link in the dashboard. The download is named the same as the slug for that post: why-this-blog.
