After more than a year without updates, WordPress importer has been updated for WP 4.6. Seems like its impossible to delete obsolete reviews, thus the average rating. I’ve found different solutions for WordPress imports as I don’t dare to rely on plugins that are left un-updated for so long.. But you should give it a try! ??

Why such a core functionality like content import/export of the most popular CMS in the world, is been neglected like this sad plugin is, I cannot comprehend.
I mostly use duplicator, wp all in one migration or updraft plus for my backup or migration needs, but in some usage scenarios you just need to export and import post, pages, media etc. This plugin should have been this basic tool for that – but it isn’t.
