Three ways to use the Login Logout Menu extension in a right sidebar
-
Now, I can think of two ways to try to put links from ProfileGrid’s Login Logout Menu extension in a right sidebar. Those two ways don’t involve using a widget, which (if I understand correctly) might be able to be used in the future (but not now).
I don’t know if the links can be put there by making a child theme. If it could be done by making a child theme, I would consider learning how to make a child theme for the extension, but only if the instructions (on how to make a child theme) came from about three or less internet pages. I don’t have experience making child themes. With a child theme is the first way, not including the way with a widget.
The second way is by finding a theme with a right sidebar menu. I tried to find a theme with a right sidebar menu by going under “Layout” at WordPress Dashboard >> Appearance >> Themes >> Add New >> Feature Filter. However, even after clicking on “Right Sidebar” under “Layout”, as far as I could tell, none of the resulting themes had a right sidebar menu. I could tell you which themes I found by using the Feature Filter in that way, if you would like to know.
The second way (which involves using the Feature Filter) is the way I am most interested in, and the way I would like to get help with next, please.
Still, please also let me know if there is one or more ways that are (more feasible and/or) easier than using the Feature Filter, like maybe with additional CSS.
Thank you.
