three users, three domains, three commerce sites, one shared blog…

I am setting up two zencart sites and an artist’s portfolio, on shared hosting space– all three are in the same physical space, two are subhosted on one.

None of us three ladies have much time for blogging, but I have gotten us to agree to one post per week, which will keep the blog pretty active if we share it. I hope to use the ‘restrict poster to category’ plugin, so that each of us will post in a category of our own, and the most recent post for each of us will show on the front page…

I would also like to publish each user’s recent post on the front page of her commerce site. Should work, right? Would I use an rss feed for that? (never used one before) and a link back to the blog. If possible, the blog should show within each domain site– but actually be the same blog. Another thing that I don’t know how to do…

and was wondering if this would be possible alternative solution for my problem… Also wondering if plugins and hacks is the right place for this question…
