Three things (noob sorry)

I have three things I’d like to change or correct regarding the Bota theme. I apologize for my lack of skills in web design, but we all gotta start somewhere right?

1. Page does not do full width, even when selected from page templates. Could you tell me where in the code and what to code to correct that?

2. Above the main navigation menu in the header, when at the home page, both the home page and fishing page buttons have a large grey box on them. I would like it that only the current page has the grey box on it. Also, when I click other pages on the menu, the grey box is not there.

3. Oh! There is no third issue. So I will say thank you in advance for any assistance! Your theme is nearly exactly what I want for a website look. Kudos to those of you who create these wonderful things!
