Thread for plugins still needing 2.0 updates

List plugins that still need 2.0 updating here. A bunch of the plugin authors have dropped off the map or are just too busy to update their plugins. The Plugin Compatibilty Page seems slow to update. Let’s take matters into our own hands.

As we list plugins, maybe someone can pick them off one by one.

I’ll start with Level10 Blog Matrix Plugin. I think all this really needs is someone with some plugin knowledge to go through and switch the calls from the old “user” tables to the new “usermeta” versions.

I tend to write my own plugins, but if others can identify ones that are having a wide impact due to incompatibility, I’d be happy to look into some of them.

When I said “I’ll start…”, I meant I’ll start listing the plugins. I didn’t mean I’ll start rewriting them. I’m throwing down the gauntlet to those with actual skills.

So, Level10 Blog Matrix Plugin needs some work? Is there any etiquette / guideline involved in messing around with someone else’s distributed plugin?

Usermeta is another plugin that someone could tackle as seen in this post.

One I am absolutely lost without is Post Moderation: https://www.blueeye.us/wordpress/index.php?p=12

I thought WP2 would have incorporated this as it is a neat feature that allows you to moderate authors before gpoing live.

Is there another plugin that does this. Role manager allows only authors to save as preview, but that is no good for admin as she does not know is the article is finished or not.

That is why Post Moderation was so neat.

Adhesive doesn’t work either… and Blogtimes is another one that gave me some problems while upgrading and had to disable.
