Hi. I updated from UAG to Spectra, and now the site is throwing thousands of 404 errors like the one here.

    /wp-content/uploads/uag-plugin/assets/1033000/uag-js-1032692-1667039528.js?ver=2.0.13

As I only have the Spectra plugin now and the old UAG was removed, how do I deal with these errors because it’s causing all sorts of issues? my site health dropped from 99 to 78 due to them, and it’s dropping daily as more and more are added to the list.

I do not know how I sort this issue out, so any help in layman’s terms will be very much appreciated

    Thanks

  • Hello @firedragons,

    Thanks for writing back.

I would request you let us know the action that triggers these errors. This you can do by rolling back to the previous version Spectra 2.0 then you can again roll back to UAG. Now you can record a video showing how this error is being triggered on your end when you update. This guide has information on how you can roll back.

Looking forward to hearing from you.

Hi, I have done this but i am unable to record the errors as I have no ideas when or how they are generated, I just find out about them when I get warnings from AHREF saying all these 404s are now in place

    Hello @firedragons,

    Thanks for writing back.

Please try uninstalling the Spectra plugin and delete then install it afresh then activate it. See whether the errors still show after this.

If the error still persists, I request, you open a support ticket with us from here: https://wpspectra.com/support/ so that we can help you better.

Please let us know how this goes.

    Regards.
    Judith.
