    Good day fellow Woos,

So my questions is the following.

I am going live with my online store and My Suppliers send me excels with thousands of products, some with images inserted to the excel and some without images.

is there anyway i can do it easier than the traditional import? or that is the only way? like some automated plugin/portal in which you upload a product name and it will crawl and get you what u need in terms of images and product description? ( sorry i might be using alot of imagination) but its one hell of a task.

i ask this question because i am wondering how the rest of the online shop owner manage with this hectic task of finding images for thousands of products that are communicted with them.

    Kindest Regards,

    Hi @hassanmoukadem

There are indeed ways to simplify the import process beyond the traditional method. WooCommerce provides a tool for importing products via a CSV file, which can include columns for images. However, the images must be online and accessible via a URL; they cannot be embedded into the Excel file itself.

There are also several plugins available that can automate and streamline this process. One such plugin is the Import Export Suite for WooCommerce plugin. This plugin lets you import and export products and product types, including image URLs, from a CSV file.

As for automatically finding and associating images and descriptions with products, there isn’t a built-in solution within WooCommerce. However, there are third-party plugins and services available that offer Product Scraping functionality.

Please note that when using product scraping tools, it’s crucial to respect copyright laws and only use images and descriptions that you have legal rights to use.

Finally, how other online store owners manage this task varies greatly. Some have dedicated teams for product management, others use automated tools, and some outsource this task.

I hope this information helps! If you have any other questions or need further clarification, please don’t hesitate to ask.
