This works, no breaking your site!!

  • This plug in works like a charm, I have a site that seems to break with every other “speed up” plug in, not this one…this one lets you pick page by page which JS and Plug ins you want to load.

    *Page Speed Insights before plug-in was a dismal score of 29 for mobile. After plug-in and clicking boxes of what doesn’t need to run… 68 for mobile!!!

    So if your page doesn’t need ads then you can turn off the ads scripts on that page. don’t need the “contact form” on every page? Then turn if off!

    If you have the very slow “Listify” theme this works!!!!

    I agree the plugin does not break the website and I’m glad you made others aware of this.

    What could break the functionality of the pages is unloading the assets that are needed (when you believe they are not).

    That’s why it’s advised to use “TEST MODE” to make sure your visitors will not load any broken pages until you go through the trial and error process. This is recommended especially if you’re not a developer or you’re just not 100% sure whether a CSS or JS file is needed or not.
