This thing simply doesn’t work

  • Numerous bugs i can’t even describe because they are so tricky

    Absolutely horrible interface like honesty the ugliest thing I’ve seen on wordpress, this is torture. You need to click like 8 times on average to select the right sub sub sub sub option of the sub sub sub block of the sub sub sub column. Never seen than in any builder.

    Margins the size of a truck absolutely everywhere, that exists only in the editor so you need to constantly have two windows to make the smallest change.

    Crashes of blocks, blocks that stop accepting any edits or for some functionalities only, duplicated blocks that edit together like mirror (wtf ?).

    Then there is the mobile and tablet previews that simply don’t work at all, also no options to inverse columns.

    This is hell on earth unless you use the pre made templates, which of course are full of things you won’t need.

    I almost finished my project but this was so bad i just can’t keep that work, i can only imagine how hard and tricky it will be to keep things working with future updates on wordpress.

    Overall, I spent more time understanding the bugs and inconsistencies than crafting the website.

    Thank you for your review. I’m sorry to hear you had a frustrating experience. I appreciate you bringing some issues and features to our attention.
    We have been asked about the Duplicate issues and trying to solve them on our end without saving and refreshing.
    Gutentor is developed so that users can design each element in detail. Traditional widget-like design can be done with Widget Blocks. If modules and elements are used, individual modules and elements can be designed individually/separately. This is the beauty of Gutenberg. For the faster development of similar designs, Copy-Paste Styles can be used. We tried to provide many features and many design flexibility, Some people may not like it and search for a specific thing.

    The main difference between Gutentor Module and Gutentor Widgets is that the Gutentor widgets have already predefined elements, you will not be able to add new elements whereas on Gutentor Modules you can/have to add individual Gutentor Elements as you want.

    Yes, Gutentor has tremendous features sometimes users could get confused. In that case, we have actively handled Support Threads. We gave excellent records of handling Feature Requests (Changelog). We have plenty of Features descriptions and Block Descriptions and demos.
    Gutenberg Templates are hugely used by users, WordPress dot org also has Patterns. I think a Ready-made template cannot be denied as a user. We have already tried to explain about different categories of Gutentor blocks and why it is developed and how they can be used in the description.
