This theme is sponsored, all links in the footer should remain intact

  • I tried to edit the footer in a free theme, I know I shouldn’t have but now i’m screwed. everything i do now, it only says this “This theme is sponsored, all links in the footer should remain intact”

    can i do anything to get my site back? i don’t care if i have to reset a theme but I don’t wanna lose all the backend stuff, i.e plugins, widgets iv’e found over time…

    is there a way to get my site back?

  • use ftp or the file management system of your hoster (cpanel ?) to rename or delete the faulty theme’s folder;

    that should in theory activate the default theme and get you back into the dashboard.
