  • I’m getting 404 error from a Google-branded error page when I visit the URL you provided in the browser.

If the public website isn’t working, you’re not going to be able to link the mobile app either. So I’ll recommend you get in touch with your hosting provider for help.

(If you’re doing some geo-blocking, then ignore my post.)

This is the last response from my hosting.

Thank you for your response. As stated earlier, the users’ table has been removed from your phpmyadmin and database due to the compromise hence the issue with login, therefore, we would recommend that you restore your site if have a personal clean and complete backup to resolve this. You can also restore the database.Once this is done, kindly try logging in with your login details and get back to us if you encounter any challenge while logging in.

Your host’s response is about “issue with login”. The problem is far more than this.

If this were just a matter of your WordPress users table being deleted:

    1) The public website would work normally (or at least you’d see a WordPress error screen)
    2) You’d be able to get to the WordPress login page, but you won’t be able to log in.

But neither of these is happening on your website.

When I check the domain you provided, ALL pages give a 404-page-not-found error. Even more mysterious, this error page is not from WordPress, but it’s pointed to a Google error page.

So the problem is much more than the inability to log in or an SSL protocol error. That’s why I asked you to get in touch with your host to have this resolved.

I’ll suggest you restore the backup as suggested by your host.

If you don’t have a backup, get back to your host (as they mentioned in their last response) and explain the situation as I’ve explained above. Point them to this forum post if necessary.
