I was able to install the jetpack plugin on my site and link it to my wordpress account. However, I can’t see the posts and pages and I have this red mark on my website profile that says, “This site cannot be accessed”. Remove site.

I’m hosting my site on WPOven.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi –

Please enable xml rpc for the site. That’s the main issue I see when running it through our debug tool.

Follow the 4th step listed on this page for more help getting that sorted: https://jetpack.com/support/getting-started-with-jetpack/troubleshooting-tips/

Come back to me here if you’re still having issues.

    Hi @lizkarkoski
I have contacted my web host and they have assured me that xmlrpc.php is enabled for my site.

I did the troubleshooting step #4 and also got the desired result of “XML-RPC server accepts POST requests only”

What else could be causing this issue on the WordPress app?

I am still seeing the same communication error message when I put the site through our debugging tool.

But, let’s make sure the app is configured correctly. Can you verify that you’ve tried connecting the site as a self hosted WordPress site and not a WordPress.com site? Also, please let me know..

    – operating system and version number
    – app version number

You could try deleting the app off of the device and then starting fresh.

Last thing, when you sign in at WordPress.com can you see the site listed under the My Sites tab in the upper left corner?

    Hi @lizkarkoski,

I have no problem seeing all the sites I’ve added. I can also see some stats, but when I click on the site pages and blog posts, it’s not showing any. It just shows, “You Haven’t Created any content yet.”

I have both Mac and Windows 10. I have version 3.8.0 in my Windows 10 computer. Interestingly, I was able to view this just fine on my iPad’s WordPress app. However, I tried accessing it again today and now I get an “Unable to Sync” error.

The jetpack site is inaccessible or returned an error: server error.
Requested method jetpack.jsonAPI does not exist.

    I hope that helps.

    Thank you for your assistance.

    Hi there,

Your site’s /xml-rpc.php file appears fine to me, but we don’t seem to be able to communicate with your site.

Given the error you’re seeing specifically mentions the jsonAPI, please check if that module in Jetpack is enabled. You can see how to find a list of all Jetpack modules on your site here:

    https://jetpack.com/support/control-jetpacks-modules-on-one-page/

If that doesn’t make any difference, please try disconnecting and reconnecting Jetpack, and if that doesn’t work, please try the additional troubleshooting steps listed at the link below, like switching to a default theme like Twenty Sixteen, and disabling and re-enabling all other plugins to rule out a theme or plugin conflict:
