This should be part of the core!

This feature should be part of the wp core, and should automatically be enabled when the categories list exceeds the height of the container…

A feature request would be an option to show the children of a filtered item, eg, if i search for Products, also show Products/Peanuts, and Products/Popcorn, or something like that. Or maybe that’s silly. It would be useful when you didn’t know the product name, but you knew it was a Product, but products has a lot of siblings in the category menu…
