this plugin slowdows admin page

  • this plugin makes tons of database requests to tables like wpuxss_eml_get_media_term_count. with thousands of media this plugin abomination clow down down loading admin pages for minutes! Give a wide berth from this crap!

    Thank you for your nice review!

    This is a known issue that could be solved by unchecking Show count checkbox in the plugin’s admin Media > Media Library > Filters > Show count. The issue is critical for users with a lot of media taxonomies. A few categories don’t produce too many requests.

    The plugin’s code needs refactoring to get rid of the issue completely while keep counting the number of files in every category. It’s partly done but needs a serious revision because it was written 2 years ago. I’ll issue an update with the re-factored code as soon as it is possible in the circumstance I live in.

    Thank you for your plugin. I have used the paid version for years and find it excellent. I worked out the count business a long time ago.
    I think your polite reply to a grubby review was also excellent. I would be happy if you transitioned to a yearly subscription plan which would support your good work.

    I will move to the subscription plans once I add more value to the plugin. That said, users with the lifetime license will have it forever as they were promised.
