• installed this, and it installed some cryptic code INSIDE the WP console!!! I removed the plugin, but now it left behind some extraneous code SOMEWHERE that prevents deleting ANY plugin. Once you get to the point that you get the “delete files” on the plugin you get this message:

    define(‘WP_CACHE’, true); //Added by WP-Cache Manager define( ‘WPCACHEHOME’, ‘/home/content/47/10044947/html/osha30hourtraining/wp-content/plugins/wp-super-cache/’ ); //Added by WP-Cache Manager
Warning: Cannot modify header information – headers already sent by (output started at /home/content/47/10044947/html/osha30hourtraining/wp-config.php:3) in /home/content/47/10044947/html/osha30hourtraining/wp-includes/pluggable.php on line 1207

There is a persistent message at the top of the console:

    define(‘WP_CACHE’, true);/Added by WP-Cache Manager define( ‘WPCACHEHOME’, ‘/home/content/47/10044947/html/osha30hourtraining/wp-content/plugins/wp-super-cache/’ ); //Added by WP-Cache

When you try to find that directory, it’s been deleted.

Someone needs to fix this or find a solution for this.

DO NOT INSTALL THIS PLUGIN !!!

I realize that learning to use caching plugins can cause people issues when exploring WordPress. I would encourage you not to panic and inform the whole world not to use a viable, stable product just because you can’t figure it out.

    1. No I don’t work for WP Super Cache.
    2. No, I no longer use WP Super Cache on any of my sites.
    3. Yes, I am a fan of reading directions when using complex tools.
