This plugin requires a Rocket.Chat installed on a server

  • Not a support or question but a lot of people don’t seem to understand the point of this plugin. This is not going to create a chat in your WordPress.

    This is made to tie a LiveChat on your WordPress site to a Rocket.Chat server !

    So you need a server! (you can host WordPress + Rocket.Chat on the same server easily with Docker for example)

    Once you have the Rocket.Chat up and running you can easily enable LiveChat on your Rocket.Chat administration panel. Then the chat will run on your website. Messages are sent to your chat server.
