• Well, that was an hour out of my life that I will never get back.

Three times I have created a survey. There is no option under the “Build Survey Form” tab for saving the survey, so I click over to the “Survey Styling Options” tab, choose Yes (as to the css option), and then click the save button. If I leave this page, the survey just vanishes. On top of that, there is no obvious avenue for finding the shortcode to paste into your site’s survey page.

Guess I’ll keep looking, ’cause this sure isn’t the answer.

    Howdy Verne,

I’m pretty bummed to hear that you had such a horrible experience with the Awesome Surveys plugin.

If, after you’ve added a question to your survey and you’re not seeing the ‘Save Survey’ button as in this screenshot then there is a conflict with another plugin.

If you’d be willing to give this plugin another chance please open a thread in the support forum and I’ll do everything I can to help you figure out why the button isn’t working for you.

On the shortcode issue, if you haven’t been successful in creating a survey, then there won’t be a shortcode. If you have then under the ‘Your Existing Surveys’ tab, the shortcodes for each survey are output as in this screenshot.

I hope you’ll give me a chance to help with this, but if not I can totally empathize with your frustration.

Will, I appreciate your prompt response to my rating, but I am really not interested in investing more time in this plugin.

However, I will report this to you. Before installing your plugin, I had tried the YOP plugin. I deactivated it, of course, before installing and activating the AS plugin, but after my first three attempts to create a survey with AS failed I did consider the possibility of a conflict. So, I then deleted the YOP plugin, rebooted my computer, and gave AS one more try.

The result with Awesome Surveys was the same, so I tend to doubt the problem is a conflict.

    I understand.

I hope you find something that fits your needs.
