• I needed to create a member site, with 3 different kind of members (2 in-company members, and 1 ex-company member), and a public part as well. The 3 member types should have access to their own pages, blog posts, menu items, etc. And everything that is not accessible should be hidden. This plugin does that job really, really well!!!

    I’ve been struggling with Members plugin (with Nav Menu Roles plugin) for ages, and eventually it kind of works too, but for all blog post the titles are always visible; a restriction messages only appears when a user clicks at the title link of the post. That’s kind of frustrating…

    User Access Manager simply hides everything that has a restriction, which is just fab!!! Even when paging through my blog posts by using the next & previous buttons of my theme, only the titles and links appear of posts that are accessible – filtered by the permissions of the logged in user.

    Wow, how cool is that?!? ??

    UPDATE
    ======
    It even works with events, published through EventON (event calendar)

    UPDATE
    ======
    It even works with my theme’s live search option
    So, I created 3 blog posts: 1 for membertypeA, 1 for membertypeB and 1 for membertypeC. In the first one, I pasted the word ‘membertypeAonly’. In the second one I pasted the word ‘membertypeBonly’. And in the third one I pasted the word ‘membertypeConly’. Then I logged in as membertypeA, and guess what? By using the live search option of my theme (Enfold), I could find the first post by searching for ‘membertypeAonly’ and could not find the second and third post by searching for ‘membertypeBonly’ and ‘membertypeConly’. The other way around it works exactly the same. Wow, I’m really impressed!!!
