Thanks for sharing the information. We were not able to replicate any issues when we tested the scenario with your WC version on our end. It seems more like a site-specific issue. It will be nice if you could explain the order placing scenario and share the screenshots of the WooCommerce orders page (by masking the user sensitive information) and the sequential order plugin settings page via this link to inspect the issue.
