wp-postviews not much use with SEO tools installed

With a sitemap plug-in and all-in-one seo tools plug-in install, the views number is constantly going up as the bots crawl the site. The number of views is only a product of how long a post was the most recent post on the blog, not how many people actually visit. In its current state, this plugin isn’t much use to me.
