• The old version was so good. Why did they ruin such a good thing. I am trying to add form submission events using this plugin and it’s just impossible now and I have spent an hour on it. Just restore the old version and make everyone happy.

To add form tracking you just activate the forms addon and you’re done. No settings or code required.

You mean pay for the forms addon, the addon which used to be included in the original version of the plugin for free?

The issue I have is I have over 100 clients sites that use your plugin and use Gravity Forms. Your original free version sent form submission events to Google Analytics without any customisation or addons. If I update your plugin on any of the sites this really important functionality which is used in Google Ads campaigns will be lost. I appreciate you are trying to monetize the plugin, I have a number of plugins on www.remarpro.com myself, but I would never dare remove functionality of an existing free version to incentivise purchasing of a new pro version.

I also switched your plugin page on www.remarpro.com to the advanced view and you won’t even allow the downloading of old versions – this is also doesn’t seem like a ‘nice’ thing to do, I hope it not to be the case, but it kind of looks like you are trying to make it difficult for people to use previous versions.

If you sent form submission events to Analytics I would be keen to change to change my review to 5 stars.

    Thanks,

I hear ya! There is a replacement that is basically the older version of GADWP that works great….at no cost for the forms submission tracking. Search for ‘GAinWP Google Analytics Integration for WordPress”
