I’m sorry, but the developer did NOT release an updated version. I don’ know if he sends direction or updates personally to those who contact him, but the plugin is not updated and is not working.

Maybe you (or I?) had another problem.
What isn’t working?

The problem I had was that if a user clicked on the share button, a popup window appeared that directed the user to https://sociallocker.app/, but that URL was expired.
That problem is solved now, the plugin works at my site.

The plugin remains at the same version, it is not updated (the normal version, I’ don’t know if the developer distributes personally updates for the paid or any version.) Instead of the share buttons there appear two animated gifs. That’s it.

Yes, it is normal that the plugin version stays the same. The problem wasn’t the plugin but the server URL the plugin connects to (the server hosting was expired).
I do not know the problem with the animated gifs never had this.
(I have the paid version, and it works great).

Used to work fine but here the same problem since December 2020.
Hovering the share buttons just show an animated loader gif – nothing else happens and the button is not clickable

Try to change the theme/skin of your locker to flat, and disable all animations if there are any.

Or send an email with a screenshot, the page, and the description of the problem to:
[email protected] (Paul Kashtanoff). That is the creator of this plugin.

It still doesn’t work like it used to but at least I could manage to get youtube and facebook work again. Twitter Shares still don’t work telling the user is not locked in.
All in all still buggy and the plugin needs a fix.
