This plugin cannot detect any links for my site

    My website is totally different with others, it is website download and I have got some issue with this plugin, my links download are separate with post and your plugin cannot detect any links on my site. U can try access my link here as example “Windows 7”

    When you open it and then u cannot see any links on my site but when you hit the button download and step by step it would direct you to the real link that is how it works. When I try to find the link that I made, your plugin cannot be able to find it! I would appreciate if you help me out to solve this issue!

    Hi @orizelhan

    Sorry to hear you are having this problem.

    I am afraid the plugin won’t simulate the click, if the link is generated dynamically after the click it won’t be able to look at it on that page, however, the /download/ should work as we can directly access it.

    How this /download/ is generated? Using any specific plugin?

    No, it’s directly by theme WordPress I use!

    Thank you for the update.

    I am afraid the plugin would have limitations to find the link in this case.

    It reads the database for the stored links, for that specific page the link is generated after the click so the plugin won’t be able to see it on the page while checking the content.

    Hi @orizelhan.

    Thanks for sending the theme, I had test with it on my installation and I could see that the theme affects default WP behavior and changes the default Post Type instead of registering it’s custom one for download posts.

    I’m afraid that these types of customizations can’t be debugged further from our end and since this is a premium theme I suggest getting in touch with theme developers so they can investigate it further and see if they could make it compatible with Broken Link Checker.
