This happened right after changing the database prefix. Now trying to go to mydomain.com sends me to mydomain.com/wp-admin/install.php

I have tried to use my database backup from right beforehand and it is not doing anything.

My stuff is still there in the FTP… but how can I revert to the way things were?

I cannot look in the dashboard for the current database prefix because I cannot access the dashboard.

I tried a couple things but now I am very afraid to do anything further because I don’t want to damage my site even more.

    Please help me through this.

    Finally fixed it.

    For those curious…

I first looked in the file wp-config.php at the line “define(‘DB_NAME’, ‘BBBB_AAAAAA’);”

I then went into phpMyAdmin in control panel. Looking in _AAAAAA from above, I took the prefix to all those tables and inserted it over in the wp-config.php file in the line “$table_prefix = ‘xxxxxxxx_’;”
