• Resolved Mark

    (@olcoil)

Reliable page builders like Elementor and WP Bakery Builder does not work with Yoast Activated. I’ve seen others report this type of issue years ago yet it keeps getting falsely marked “resolved”.

there is something serious with the latest yoast packages. Here is the error log:

: “PHP message: PHP Warning: fopen(/www/mockmigrationrun1_347/public/wp-content/plugins/wordpress-seo/wp-seo.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /www/mockmigrationrun1_347/public/wp-includes/functions.php on line 5974PHP message: PHP Warning: fread() expects parameter 1 to be resource, bool given in /www/mockmigrationrun1_347/public/wp-includes/functions.php on line 5977PHP message: PHP Warning: fclose() expects parameter 1 to be resource, bool given in /www/mockmigrationrun1_347/public/wp-includes/functions.php on line 5980” while reading upstream, client: 24.246.73.240, server: mockmigrationrun1.kinsta.cloud, request: “GET /wp-admin/plugins.php HTTP/1.0”, upstream: “fastcgi://unix:/var/run/php7.3-fpm-mockmigrationrun1.sock:”, host: “mockmigrationrun1.kinsta.cloud”, referrer: “https://mockmigrationrun1.kinsta.cloud/wp-admin/admin.php?page=vc-general”

  • Hi @olcoil,

Thank you for reaching out. We apologize you are experiencing this PHP warning.

Looking at the warning, “no such file or directory” makes us think the update was not successful and that not all files or directories are in place. Can you please reinstall the Yoast SEO plugin and check if that helps? You can do it either manually by deleting the /wordpress-seo/ folder in the wp-content/plugins/ folder and reuploading the latest files using (S)FTP. You can find more information here. Or by deactivating and removing the Yoast SEO plugin on your site and then installing it again.

For your first concern about page builders. Can you give us a little more information on the exact issue is you are experiencing? While we know that third-party page builder may not have full compatibility with all of their modules for our analysis, we are not aware of any issues making them not to work. Can you share which builder and versions you are running?
