Now for my sad story. Did an update on a linux product. Downloaded UpdraftPlus and saved my WordPress site. Then I decided to migrate from release 18 to 19. Went well for about 1.5 hours then it died. No keyboard or mouse. Did a hard reset. Not good. Then everything went dark. Maybe the power supply. This pc had been a webserver so guess what? – no WordPress. Fortunately I had moved the UpdraftPlus files to a thumb drive. Over the next 4 days I struggled to rebuild the webserver. Yes I had many “README_files” from years ago but things changed, like mysql syntax and the like. Apache2 also had changes. Anyway I got the PC up with WordPress and placed the UpdraftPlus files in the /var/www/html/wordpress/wp-content/updraft directory (yours will be different but note the “wp-content part of the path. I then installed UpdraftPlus on the new webservere and told it to install the old website from the backup files. Within a minute or so DONE. I AM IMPRESSED WITH THIS PLUGIN. Thanks to all of you that had a part in “making it”.

    A very happy customer!!!!
