If there are many references to items not encrypted with SSL you will get “Too many redirects”. Mixed SSL and no SSL pages/images is a common reason for “Too many redirects” at WordPress sites.

Install a SSL plugin to fix this security issue either “Really Simple SSL” or “WP Force SSL & HTTPS SSL Redirect”.

Thanks, I added the Force SSL plugin as @missveronicatv mentioned and also updated some the the external links to https but when I activate the Ultimate Membership plugin I get the same error message. armedandreadyalarms.com

So as a test I created this new test website with UM installed and referenced a non SSL image and it works fine. Home – woo (gjhdigital.net)

Do you have any caching active for the UM Pages, WP Plugin or Server Side caching?
