This page is not redirecting properly

    Hello,
    I’m having some troubles with the Jetpack shortlinks and Polylang.

    Jetpack shortens the post URL to something like wp.me/something that redirects to https://example.com/en/?p=277 (language and post ID set as GET variable in the URL), but that page redirects in loop between ITA and ENG so the browser stops and shows “This page is not redirecting properly”.

    I temporary fixed this by unchecking the “Sets the language according to the preferences of the browser when visited the home page” option.

    Do you have an idea on how to fix this?

    Hi!

    Could you make your test with the latest development version just in case? Could you also make your tests with all other plugins de-activated and a default theme such as Twenty Twelve (to make sure there is no other conflict) and also post your Polylang settings?

    Unfortunately I can’t since I’m on a WordPress MU live, but I’ll wait for the new version release to see if it fixes the issue.
