    I had a similar topic a few weeks ago that was solved by Ezoic. This time it’s a bit different it seems. Looks like one of my other sites is now experiencing a similar issue with your plugin, but this issue we couldn’t solve it.

    After working with Ezoic for days by troubleshooting, they finally assured me that the same thing happens even when they bypass the Ezoic completely. I also worked with my host, and they couldn’t find anything.

    What happens is that Shortpixel simply doesn’t run anymore. I get “This item is waiting to be processed” and when I click on those images that aren’t in the Queue I get “Item has been added to the queue and will be optimized on the next run“. They just stay there in the queue, and nothing happens.

    I tried clearing the cache, locally, at Ezoic, clearing Ezoic leap optimization data, adding my site as an associated domain at shortpixel.com, trying with new images, clearing queue in the plugin settings, deactivating and reactivating plugin – nothing worked.

    Please help us with this issue.

    Hi Alex,

    Can you please go to Settings > ShortPixel > Tools and click on Empty Queue?

    Afterwards, try to manually optimize a single image and let me know if that works.

    Hi there,

    I soppose you’ve missed it, but I’ve mentioned this above. I’ve tried clearing the queue many times with no luck.

    However, in the interest of resolving this, I tried it once more just now and I got the same results. The image is queued, and when I reloaded the Library WP page, the image is just waiting to be processed. Nothing happens.

    When you clear the queue and manually start the optimization of a single image,

    1. Do you see the little robot starting to spin on the WordPress Toolbar?
    2. Do you see any console errors in the Developer Tools of your browser?

    1. Robot doesn’t spin at all. Nothing happens.
    2. I don’t see any errors, here’s what the Console shows:

    For what its worth, I have same issue…started happening sometime after 12/2022. I dont even have the robot icon in top toolbar, but API is connected. I sent in a new support ticket.

    @billmcq Could be there’s a plugin or some specific setting connected to the host. I’m sure we’ll get to the bottom of this.

    Hello again.

    Just wanted to let you know that I’ve realized I already knew how to do everything Shortpixel does. Therefore, I’ve deleted the Shortpixel plugin for 3 of my websites.?This turned out to be a time and energy sink for me, and I had to deal with it.
