Ok, ok, I’m a developer of the plugin. But only because I needed it, and my clients needed it. Now that it’s here I’m using it heavily and loving it.

Like any new way of doing things, it may take some getting used to. Remember the first time you found your email grouped into conversations? It might have felt odd at first, and then it clicked. I think replying to an email to make a comment will be like that. Once you get it, you’ll know it’s right, and so will your users.

That’s just one part of this plugin – I hope you’ll find many pleasant surprises. An email preview button in the post editor? Thanks, don’t mind if I do. Invite previous commenters to subscribe? Great idea!

There are so many things you can do with Postmatic: build a community, make a listserve with automatic searchable archives, combine your blog and newsletter, and I’m sure many more things I haven’t imagined. I’m excited for all of us, let’s do it!

  • Just read about this!
I’ve installed jetpack a couple times just for the Subscribe module.

Will the pricing be similar to MailChimp for handling larger volumes of users in the future?

Cant wait to try it out, cheers!

    Cool, hope it goes well!

We’ll announce a pricing structure prior to our 1.0 release, but meanwhile we are listening to what you want. We are committed to making the free version worth running on its own merit so you can try the beta without fear of being priced out in the future.

Keep up with news on the blog: https://gopostmatic.com/blog/
