yes, the site has been up and running well for almost a year. I don’t know what changed. I’ve been working on creating new pages but they are only drafts right now.

Do you have any published Posts? Or only Pages?

Then check that you have a static front page correctly configured in Settings -> Reading.

I do have a static page, but I see this message:

Your home page does not exist or its translation is not published in English.
Edit this page to add translations

Have you checked that your selected Home page is published & available? Can you try deactivating all of your plugins?

aha – It says it’s published but I get this error message for the page I’ve been using as the home page….Not Found
The requested URL /bg/ was not found on this server.

Try creating a new copy of the Page and setting that up as your front page.
