• I’ve setup a test site uploaded the SQL file and when I access the link, all I can see is This is somewhat embarrasing.

The SQL file was a backup of the original website.

  • Looks like a 404 error. Have you checked if you have replaced all the URLs in the database if there are changes?

You may reset your permalinks to default and try again.

A link (URL) to your site will help us understand your problem better and suggest solutions accordingly.

Have you reset your permalinks as I suggested above? If not try that first.

If the above step does not help, deactivate all plugins and revert to the default WordPress theme and see if you still get the errors.

BTW, by running an old version of WordPress (3.4.1) that also contains files from version 3.3, apart from errors as posted by you, you really run the risk of being hacked. You really need to update WordPress to the latest version.

I’ve reset the permalinks, tried to activate the twentyeleven (unedited theme) but nothing happened :((

Have you tried updating WordPress as I suggested above?

Yes WordPress version has been updated to 3.5.2 (probably the latest)
