    Hi

I’ve been using this plugin for long time and now I don’t see the forum, just this message es shown: this is out of wpforo forum environment.

This happens in an standar page that is not using any page builder, just standar editor. And it’s happening in pages where it was wrorking for months until now.

I’ve tried deactivating the SG Optimize (cache and js compacter) but still fails.

    I’ll thank any help.

    Regards
    Carlos

    Hi @cmelero,
This message should only be displayed in editing mode of that page. Once you save and publish it you’ll see the forum. Can you leave some screenshot?

I have tested it in a anonymous tab and it doesn’t work

The most amazing is that I have cloned the page and it works. It doesn’t work in the original one but it does work in the cloned page with identica content and configuration.

… until I publish it, then stop working.

I have created a new page tha only have a line with the forum shortcut. It appers to work after publish it… until… I configure a parent page, then it stop working. If the page has no parent, the forum apperas. If i declare a parent, the forum disaperas.

    @cmelero,
The forum page should not have parent pages. The forum page URL is matter. So it should be a single /path/ which is defined in the Dashboard > Forums > Settings > General Tab. You should not use the page as child page with multiple level of paths /parent/child-forum-page/

But, it has been working for months, until last week.

I don’t know how it was working, but now you should not put the forum page as a child page. The forum page must be a parent page.

Then, if I have understood it right, I can’t embed the forum via shortcode in a page that is child of other.

    Thank you for the information.

Yes, you can’t use it as a child page with the current version. We’ll take this under consideration and try to support child pages in the future releases.

Yes – this broke our Forum too, which previously worked under a sub-page.

I think many site owners may want to add the Forum under a sub-page – in a Members’ area of a website for instance – so it would be much appreciated if this featured could be supported again.

    Thanks
    Marcus
