I used to implement Master Slider for several websites back in time when i started creating websites with WordPress – it had nice design and acceptable number of options.
Now i can’t recommend it for several reasons:
1. It still doesn’t use sourceset.
2. Images goes beyond wrapper. This is unacceptable.
3. Problems with responsivness overally.
3. Years later still only two options for slide effect. Also no other “new options”. Just old freemium.Yes i could post it on support forum but what’s the point? Atm Meta Slider and Smart Slider 3 are way better alternatives.
Feels like someone just keep maintaining it “just to work”. Check development tab, you’ll know what i mean.
Sorry guys, i think it’s time to let go.

We agree with the most of your reasons. But we will appreciate if you explain more about the second issue.
Sure. Let me visualize the issue:
– it happens on lower, than initial resolution. If i resize window, then ms slide actually resize properly.Our dev team is working on these issues and in our upcoming updates, we will fix the first and third issues.
Good to hear. I might actually change the rating after that. Not 5-stars, because that would be too much.
About number 4, more options are available on our pro version.
That’s the problem. You haven’t add single additional option in years for free version. Just check what Smart Slider 3 provides. If it goes for “premium” slider, then Revolution still wins overally.
