You should restore the previous version while this new one is still being refined since it was not ready for prime time. You should have left the old one in place and treat this as a and different plugin because that is what it really is. And it is horribly implemented I can’t believe it was based on research and user experience as claimed. A lot of functionality lost and really no new features except that there is now a need to make several more clicks to accomplish some of the old functionality that is still left.

The ability to create a new shipping label is gone. Once you create a shipping label, there does not appear to be an option to create a new one for the same order. The button changes to “View purchased shipping labels”. Please restore functionality to create additional shipping labels for an order.

Auto address verification is gone. Now everything has to be verified manually, resulting in additional clicks. The option to verify with Google Maps is also gone.

The migration of settings did not work. Lost all custom package sizes and have to redo everything now. Very bad experience.

Even though I have checked the following options, the new plugin just seems to ignore all of them.
“Remember service selection” and “Remember package selection”

There is no option to edit custom packages or create new ones except while creating a new shipping label. And remember, once you create a shipping label, the feature to add custom packages is no longer accessible unless it is is hidden somewhere I am struggling finding.

How can one rollback to the previous version??

    Hi @jskarioki

Thanks for the review and sorry to hear you feel the experience is not on par with what you expected.

I wanted to let you know that we are actively listening to what our users want and implementing features based on that, hopefully this will make you reconsider this review from a 1 star to something higher.

For example, we just released version 1.1.4 that adds a new auto address validation feature when purchasing labels. We also fixed the issue with packages not migrating over, and added a way to remove saved packages in a previous release already.

As for creating additional shipping labels for orders, this is something we are currently actively working on so something should be available soon.

    Thanks!

Updated to version 1.1.5. Tried to “Edit Origin Address”. When I click “Validate”, I get the error, “Error: The WooCommerce Shipping server returned: Bad Request child “destination” fails because [“last_name” is not allowed] ( 400 )”.

Please advise how one can edit origin address during shipping label creation.

PS: Same error was happening on Version 1.1.3.

In the meantime, how can I get the previous version that worked very well to use while these issues are addressed?

    Hey @jskarioki,

Thanks for sharing that error message. Are you still seeing that error currently? If so, does it appear to be happening on all orders or just a specific one?

I took a look at your site’s connection to our servers and didn’t see any issues there, so it would also be helpful if you can share what info is in the “last_name” field for the destination address when that error appears.

As for the previous version of the plugin (1.1.4), if you want to see if that makes a difference, you can download it here.

Let us know what you find out. Thanks!
