This is NOT an “upgrade”

  • They should leave the old functionality as an option (even if not the default). Gutenberg and “blocks” are a shit-show. Dumbing things down for the least common denominator and removing features IS NOT AN UPGRADE.

  • Thank you for giving it a try and sharing your feedback, I hear that you’re frustrated. If you find that it really isn’t for you Classic Editor plugin will restore the old functionality.

    We shouldn’t need the Classic Editor plugin, Gutenberg should be optional.

    @camikaos Thanks for the tip on the Classic Editor plugin. I was able to resolve my site’s layout/display issues once I installed that.

    I hope support for it continues.
