• This is a calculator that you can place on your website that will allow a visitor to enter information and have it display a total. That is all it will do.

    DO NOT BE FOOLED.

The screenshots on www.remarpro.com show using this as a calculating contact form. This plugin will not do what the screenshots illustrate without buying the Pro version for $50.00 per website.

We were looking for a calculating contact form that allows the site visitor to enter a name and email address, perform a calculation and then send you a copy of the calculation and send a copy to the site visitor. We looked at the screenshots and thought this was the perfect solution and didn’t see the fine print stating that the contact form piece of it costs $50.

We’d likely be happy to pay $50, but after the way the developer handles this aspect, we will exhaust every other possibility, including buying a plug in elsewhere before we will use this one.

    Hi,

Please note that the plugin description is explicit about that:

“With Calculated Fields Form you can create forms with dynamically calculated fields to display the calculated values… The form processing and payment processing aren’t included …”.

Regarding to the screenshots, the “contact form” text appear on two of the screenshots due to a editing error, I’ve just corrected that and uploaded new screenshots.

We are offering a free plugin for showing calculations, quotes, etc… we take care about the description to match exactly what the plugin offers and we take care about the support and plugin quality. You can read the public forum and other reviews to get a better idea of how we take care about these points.

Hope you give the plugin a second chance.

Thank you for your comments and feedback.

Thanks, but we simply wrote an add-on for Contact Form 7 that does the specific calculation we needed. Took about 30 minutes, so that was much cheaper than $50.00 per WordPress install for your forms processor add-on.

I was very impressed with the demo of this plugin. I’m probably going to buy it unless @oldbrit can share his CF7 hack… have you posted your add-on as a plugin?

oldbrit Bit of a cheapskate heh ? if you did really do it in 30 mins LoL then why bother to post negative crap here – its a good plugin matey ??

I totally agree with metanoia77. it’s a great plugin! works out of the box perfectly and support is amazing.

I’m guessing that the ‘oldbrit’ is really Scottish or Dutch. I think this is a great plug-in. I happen to be an Old Brit as well as I’m a British Born Canadian living in the USA. It does what it’s supposed to do.

My first use it at the bottom of the page:

I will be buying the Pro version soon, when I need the form capability.

I think it’s fun to be a sexagenarian.
