This is a big error in uploading file

  • Plugin uploads file more than 7times , it just imports from gallery an paste even when i tick only jpeg.

    let me explain

    assuming i send a message hi with buddypress

    it automatically sends all the images i have uploaded

    (if disable file upload for private chat it dose not do the junk upload, but if enabled it continue when sending any message

    Looks I have found where the bug is coming from.
    It is from the upload class but can’t really fix it.
    If you tick User can send files.
    Even if you tick on (Docx)
    Or only one thing.
    The BP messages gives user access to post more than that .
    Like pictures.

    So unless it don’t use the WP upload Gallery to like the personal “Space” created for it

    Like a “Backup” folder for messages and also chat so the bug will be fixed

    Also try this.
    Install any BP theme.
    Now check the messaging function.
    Only enable .txt file
    And try uploading .png and it will upload

    its not working for me in this way, your plugin overwrites file uploading.

    Yes, it skips the one ticked.
    Even if I ticked to upload one file.
    It upload all “media” related files and send it to user.
    E.g I upload 4 media files in the past (in my Site)
    It collects that 4 files and Spams it to the user any time I send or upload file.
    If I send like “Hi” to you.
    It sends the HI with the “4” attached files.
    Kind of annoying bug

    Sorry for the late reply.
    Tried possible methods to fix.
    Don’t know what to do or which PHP code to make it a Direct upload to the User I send message
    But it work fine in sending messages
    Only file uploading bugs
