• Hi, i see there are no answers to topics in this support forum, but i’ll anyways try to ask your help with the best hopes.

With your plugin installed, every AMP page says missing author in Structured data testing tool. Can you please tell me a way to fix it?

    Example of AMP page: https://goo.gl/DP0aeS

This is strange since the plugin should output same markup as the normal blog post. in other words, if your post markup is valid, the AMP page markup should be valid to, because it’s the same code!

Have you modified the code or having any other plugin that effects AMP?

The normal blog post markup is excellent, the issue is only in the AMP markup.

I use AMP plugin by Automattic, and Glue for Yoast to add basic customization to AMP pages (logo, header color, links color). Moreover, i have edited the AMP plugin file to add AdSense in AMP pages (i have just added the amp-ad codes at the start and at the end of articles, as you can see from the link).

Do you think one of these things is causing the issue?

EDIT: tried to remove AdSense, but the issue remains

Not sure, but maybe it’s the Glue for Yoast.

Schema plugin save the markup in post meta, so if you do changes try saving the post you are working on, or if you make changes to the code, try editing any of the Schema Types and save it.

This to guarantee that all schema markup post meta fields are flushed and the Schema plugin generate the markup again.

So please, try removing any of your customizations, save any of your Schema Types entries, then check if the error is gone.

Just did exactly what you said.

    – Removed Glue
    – Removed AdSense
    – Left only AMP by Automattic plugin enabled
    – Flushed the markup by editing and saving

First, the posts markup converted from “Article” (my one) to “General”, and obviously Google said it’s an unknown type of markup. Then i have updated again and still, missing author.

When the markup was converted to General in Structured data tool, the first “missing author” error is gone (replaced by “unknown markup type” error), but still no author markup appeared.
