• Hi there, I like the plugin. After a lot of playing around and getting my head around some things it seems pretty good, but there’s still a couple of issues.

I tested this on a desktop with sandbox payments and registered user and a premium member user could see protected content after logging in no problem, but on mobile even after logging in the user still can’t access protected content.

There also seems to be a lot of confusion as to why two logins are needed. If someone registers via a google sign in, which people commonly want to do, why do they need a separate login username and password to then access premium content? Is there not a way for a logged in (free) user to just buy a subscription and then their membership level just changes without having to get a new username and password??

It also seems hard to find a proper contact form for direct support, hence why I’m posting here.

Can you confirm your theme is responsive? Also you might like to carry out the following troubleshooting test test-for-plugin-and-theme-conflict-before-posting-an-issue-or-a-bug.

Please check the following documentation creating-membership-upgrade-button to help you further.

Let me know if the above helps you.

    Thank you

Hi there, thanks for getting back to me quickly.

The theme is responsive yeah. I went through the tests but the issue still remains.

As for the second issue, that documentation doesn’t help. In fact, there are so many more issues with this plugin.

Email activations for registered users doesn’t work. When a user is logged in and goes to their profile it says ‘user is not logged in’.

Also, if I wanted to use another plugin like Loginpress to allow users to register and login how does that connect to Simple Membership?? In other words, if a user tried to register using the WP login then why does it say they aren’t logged in and can’t see their profile? I really don’t want to have two different logins as seems to be the case with this plugin.

Am more confused than when I started now ha.

We currently don’t have an addon for Loginpress plugin. However you can enable Enable Auto Create Member Accounts. This is located in Advanced Settings tab.

Let me know if the above helps you.

    Thank you
