In the past I gave a negative review, but I’m editing my review and adding a couple of stars now because one of the developers was quite helpful in her response.

I hope when they update this plugin they’ll add some screenshots and make it clearer that it only provides clickable links to user tickets, and that tickets aren’t editable in the back-end.

I see that they’re working on a pro version that will allow this, so I’ll watch out for that in the future.

    Hey Aidan,

I have added few instructions that might help you to walk around with WP Freshdesk working.

Here is where you can find the option to WP Freshdesk settings.
And here is where you could set up all your options.

Hope this clarifies the usage of WP Freshdesk. Hoping for your positive response.

Soon we will add screenshots and initial setup instructions into readme file, to avoid confusion.

    Hi,

    Thank you for this.

The first link in your message doesn’t work, please check that one. The second link does work.

I am able to set it up now. It’s not what I expected, as everything it embeds is essentially a link. A user can’t edit or read tickets on my wordpress site. Whatever they click on, it opens a new browser window on the Freshdesk website.

So really it’s just a set of embedded links to Freskdesk.

But the single-sign-on does work, so if a logged in user clicks on the link, it does open the Freskdesk site with that person already logged in.

    Regards
