This doesn't seem to be working for me

The contextual Related Posts works… but it appears your add-on is not working for me. I am using a custom post type and I am trying to fetch related posts by the same taxonomy.
It seems no matter what I select from “Fetch related posts only from:” it doesn’t work. It continues to supply options for my post type that are outside the taxonomy.
I’ve also tried turning on and off contextual matching and contextual matching for only custom post types… but to no effect.
Is this suppose to work with custom post types and taxonomies? If so, perhaps I am doing something wrong?
