  • By chance, we installed a captcha on our login form, and suddenly all the bot and brute force attempts appeared, right away.
    I was shocked to see Wordfence doing absolutely NOTHING about these attacks. Seems like it has been going on for months.

    1) turkey trying to login as ‘admin’ for well over an hour.
    2) ‘admin’ is set as an immediate block + firewall is enabled

    3)Nothing worked. I decided to use another firewall plugin:

    WordPress Simple Firewall

    The brute force immediately stopped.
