• Hello Sirs,

Created a coupon code but found two issues so far:

    1) Add order for registered customer from admin, add the coupon code but deny and always display “this coupon seems not yours”
    2) Customer places order from store front, the coupon doesn’t recognize the customer when I only add the customer ID/email on coupon setting(See attached:https://ibb.co/vdLK749). It works and take effect when Customer role is also enabled. Supposedly matching either one of them will suffice.

    Please help. Thanks in advance!

    1) I see, this doesn’t work on the backend. We’ll apply a fix soon.

    2) I can’t reproduce this issue, it works as expected on our end. Is the customer logged in when you test it? This is required for this field.

    Ho @josk79,

Thank you for your prompt response.
    1) thank you for going to fix it.
    2) I as admin to add order for customer, this should works same as customer logged in and place order thought. The coupon code should be automatically taking effect for the customer assigned to the coupon. But it doesn’t work. Please advise.

    Thanks!

    2) That’s by design. If you’re logged in as admin (on the frontend) then the admin credentials are used. Maybe you can use the ‘Allowed emails’-field instead?

Will test accordingly and let you know. Thank you very much!

Please try version 3.2.7. It should fix the backend order user restriction validation.

    Thanks!
