this cart solution is exceptional, but..

UPDATED Review: Still great, but be warned. I found it lacks some important e-commerce features necessary on some sites. There is a limit to 5 product pics only. Also, the breadcrumbs will not follow the hierarchy regardless of permalink settings. It goes from store to product and will not provide the category in the URL. Support is very responsive but they said these are limitations they don’t have time for. In forum searches, other users have been asking for several years to fix the 5-pic limit. The last complaint is the use of advanced option sets. You literally have to make an option set for just about every product unless you have very general options (like S, M, L, XL, 2X, etc) that work for all products. I have a store with fabrics and several colors. I can make color swatches option sets by fabric type easily enough, but for every product, the colors vary. Instead of being able to enable or disable colors in the option set at the product level, you have to build and assign a whole new option set. Makes no sense and it’s hard to keep organized. Try doing that with 148 products! I still love this cart and will use it, but now I know its limits.
ORIGINAL Review:
Being an avid Woo user for several projects over the years, I stumbled upon this cart searching yet again for another Woo problem on YouTube. I didn’t know about WP Easycart so I was curious. I read the negative reviews, had a look at the tutorial vids and decided to do the free trial for premium. I can’t find any merit in the negative reviews so far. Support has been awesome. Try that with Woocommerce! LOL What I loved about it immediately was the all-inlcusive UI instead of “add this plugin” “find it in this menu” “google how-to’s” etc. like you would with woocommerce. The trial period was a big help because it showed me the full power of this cart. I had questions of course and customer support was right on it and extremely helpful. I think I’m done with Woocommerce finally.
