“This block has encountered an error and cannot be previewed”

This is ridiculous, it doesn’t matter what template I use, all Gutenverse sections are corrupted. There is also no where to upload a picture so I cannot even provide more context.

This is holding me back on deadlines I have and is causing major problems, please assist.

We need to know a few things :
1. Which version of Gutenverse do you use?
2. Which version of WordPress do you use?
3. Is there other plugin activated when this issue happened? If there is, try deactivate one by one and see if one of it caused conflict.
4. Could you check developer console, and see if there is any error messages inside the editor?

Wordpress 6.0.2

Yes I have other plugins activated, I deactivated all of them and it’s still occuring.

This only occurs when working on a template, if I work directly on a page it doesn’t.

But this doesn’t allow as much customization.

Gutenverse recently auto-updated and this would seem to be the most likely cause.

is there a way to revert back?

-I have no adblockers, Filters of any kind and it worked fine last week.

Every page is displaying correctly when previewing but when editing the template, all gutenverse sections and their contents are displaying as a white box with the text “This block has encountered an error and cannot be previewed”.

I am having the same issue. I am using Gutenverse version 1.3.4. I have no other plugins.

It will show developer tools, then click on console and see on the error tab if there is error showed.

@jegstudio the issue stands when I try the zeezer theme, but for the most part, i’m building from scratch.

I will ask again and if you choose not to answer I’ll just stop using the plugin.

Is there a way to revert to the last update because this is the only thing that has changed and should be STEP 1 in troubleshooting.

I encountered the same issue. The fix is to visit your site dashboard > Settings > Reading > Your homepage displays: Select “Your latest posts” and save.

Clear the browser cache and try editing. The issue MAY fix the issues raised here!

I am facing the same error, I tried almost everything… disable all plugins, change theme…. yet I am still not able to edit any page. The website is working fine though
