Think maybe site hacked and cannot make changes to wordpress

    I’m really not sure what’s going on but for some reason, I can’t make any changes to wordpress whatsoever. I have this NFL Jeresy’s thing showing up on the home page and cannot remove it. I’ve searched through the database and all wordpress files to try and find out where this is coming from and can’t find anything. When I look up the dns, it resolves to the correct nameservers and ip address of my server. When I try and make a different page the home page, I can’t. I can’t make any changes at all. You can check out the site here: https://www.factorfictionband.com. No matter what I do, nothing works. I even recently switched this site to a different hosting company and still no luck (I migrated all the files and exported/imported the database from the old server so I didn’t have to recreate everything). Am I somehow hacked in someway I don’t know about?

    The sudden appearance of an unintended NFL Jersey spam link is a pretty good sign that you’ve been hacked.

    Remain calm and carefully follow this guide. When you’re done, you may want to implement some (if not all) of the recommended security measures.

    Definitely something with the wordpress folders was causing the issue. I re-installed an older version of wordpress and about to upgrade now. Thanks for the helpful links though as the recommended security measures is something I def. want to read up on.

    Probably one of the core files was corrupted then, please definitely look into the security measures.
