Think I broke the theme..

  • Hi!

    So, complete newbie here.
    I installed the theme and was going to edit with Elementor.
    Clicked “new page” and boom!

    The beautiful theme was gone.

    Have tried to uninstall and reinstall but the same issue appears.
    Have tried to change activate one of the basic themes, those work perfectly.

    But when I change it back to Bento, same issue appears even after reinstallation.

    Please help ??

    Hello George, thanks for choosing Bento! I’ve tried testing Elementor on a fresh WP install (without Bento, using a default theme) on a shared GoDaddy hosting and it produces an error page anyway. It does work okay on a Digital Ocean virtual server, though – both with and without Bento. What I’m getting at is that it might not be a theme issue (or at least not necessarily).

    Have you tried any of the steps outlined in their official troubleshooting guide? This might be a memory issue. Another thing to try is to disable all active plugins and enable them one by one to see if any of those is responsible. Please let me know of the results!
