• Hi there,

I’m using the ‘Departure’ theme with ‘thickbox auto plus’. All is working well, but I’m trying to get the thickbox to be open on the page as soon as it is loaded.

I am using thickbox to display text content and would like it to be present before the viewer starts browsing the page.

Any ideas on how to do this?

    Any advice, much appreciated.
    Thanks in advance
    Claire

  • I’m sorry but as you are using a commercially supported theme, you need to seek support from the theme’s developers – paid or otherwise. We only support themes downloaded from www.remarpro.com here.

    Oh,
I wasn’t aware of that. It was a free to download theme though.
I’ll check with the producer of the theme…
If I was trying to do this with a generic wordpress theme how would I do it? I’ll need to apply this to a ‘TwentyEleven’ theme aswell at a later stage.

You’d need to implement thickbox at the link point rather than in the linked page itself.

    Thanks Esmi,
How would I go about this? I’m not great with code.

I have already searched there, but didn’t find the solution and the forum doesn’t seem to be active.

I’m going to try another plugin that offers more support.
